Nusrat Jahan is one of the rising actresses in the Indian Bangla Movie Industry Tollywood. She is also known as her nickname Naina and Ruhi. She was born on 8th January, 1990 in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. She is a Muslim by birth. Her family lived in Noakhali, Bangladesh before her birth. She started her childhood in Kolkata. She attended Queen of the Mission School, Kolkata. She completed Bachelor of Commerce degree from Bhawanipur College, Kolkata.
She came into media suddenly after winning a beauty contest named Fair-One Miss Kolkata in 2010. She entered into Bengali cinema industry with the superhit movie Shotru. Jeet was the hero of her first movie. After the release of the movie, people liked her very much and she became a heartthrob within a few days. She acted in her second film in 2013. Khoka 420 was her second movie. She was a secondary heroine in that movie. Dev and Shubhasree were the main characters in that movie. In 2013, another film was released named Khiladi. Ankush Hazra was the hero of this 3rd movie of Nusrat. Recently, she is appearing in another cinema named Jamai 420 along with 5 other stars.
She performed in some item songs also in her short career. Chicken Tandoori in the movie Action and Deshi Chori in the movie Yoddha: The Warrior were two of those. She is 5 feet 7 inches long and her weight is 56 Kg.
