K.G.F: Chapter 1
K.G.F: Chapter 1 is a 2018 Indian Kannada-language period action film[5][6] written and directed by Prashanth Neel, and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner Hombale films. It is the first installment in the two-part series, followed by K.G.F: Chapter 2. The film centers around Raja Krishnappa Bairya "Rocky", born into poverty, who arrives in Bombay (now Mumbai) in the 1960s, on a quest for power and wealth as desired by his dying mother. Involved with the gold mafia there, he is recruited to kill Garuda, the oppressive heir-in-waiting, in Kolar Gold Fields. Yash stars as Rocky, while Ramachandra Raju features as Garuda. Anant Nag narrates the film while also playing a supporting role alongside Srinidhi Shetty, Vasishta N. Simha, Ayyappa P. Sharma and Harish Roy.

'KGF' box-office collection Day 12: The Yash starrer shows growth on New Year's day
The film is already a hit and has registered good numbers for its Hindi version, especially in the state of Maharashtra. The film is still doing well even after fresh competition at the box office. The film has already outperformed in its home state of Karnataka.
According to the latest report by BoxofficeIndia.com, on its twelfth day, the film has managed to collect Rs 2 crore for the Hindi version on Tuesday, taking the total tally to Rs 29.5 crore.
The plot of the film revolves around the Kolar Gold Fields in Karnataka in the early 80s and is centered around the protagonist Rocky who wants to die as the richest and most powerful man. From the streets of Bombay to the fields of KGF, he embarks on the mission. This movie is the first part of the action duology.
